New site layout, in case you didn't notice. I hope you like it. But I don't care if you dont. Cuz I do.

OK so first things first, allow myself to introduce mys... my new band... ORYX. It's metal. Straight up.
Nothing too fancy, but VERY high octane.
And I've been missing all of my old friends in the trenches,
so be warned that we plan to head out into the great wide world of  rock 'n roll bars by fall
and I expect to see many familiar faces... And I cant wait!

As an initial sacrifice to the metal gods, we have placed 'Tear Me Down' on the block for your approval.
I hope you like it. But I don't care if you dont. Cuz I do.
And so far people have reacted positively.  We have several more tunes gathering mass as I type,
so hopefully now it's just a matter of time before things really start to get loud.

Hillside has been kinda lying low for the last year since I picked up a full-time seasonal gig at the parks
but the band has been building steam during that time and it's shaping up to be
a busy summer full of writing, rehearsals and rehab-ing Christmas lights, so stay tuned.

(seriously though, did you like the song?... I really hope you did...)
